When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Embedded content from other websites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that website.

Email Subscriptions, Online Store, and Courses
MailPoet (Email Subscriptions)
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your name and email address to send you relevant updates, articles, and offers. We use MailPoet, a WordPress plugin by Wysija SARL, to manage our email communications.
MailPoet may collect:
- Your email address, name, and IP address
- Subscription status and timestamp
- Interaction data such as email opens and link clicks
Your data is securely stored on our web server and is not shared with external platforms. If you are also a customer (via WooCommerce), MailPoet may use your purchase history to send tailored emails. You may unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
WooCommerce (Online Store)
When you place an order through our website, we collect the following personal information to process and deliver your purchase:
- Name, billing and shipping address
- Email and phone number (if provided)
- Order details and purchase history
- Account credentials if you register (username and password)
We do not store credit card or payment data directly—these are processed securely by our third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe or PayPal). Order data is retained for legal, administrative, and tax purposes for up to 5 years or as required by law.
Only authorized staff have access to this data to fulfill orders and support customers.
LearnPress (Online Courses)
If you enroll in a course on our platform, we collect information necessary to manage your participation, such as:
- Name, email address, and course enrollment status
- Course progress, quiz results, and completion certificates
- Account data and learning activity if you register
Course-related data is stored securely on our server. If you purchase a course, payment is handled through WooCommerce. We use this data to give you access to course content, track your progress, and issue certificates (if applicable).
You can contact us to access or delete your course data at any time, subject to certification or legal retention requirements.
Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. However, we may share or provide limited access to your data with trusted services and partners that help us operate our website and deliver our services:
- Google Ads: May collect anonymized usage and device data when you interact with our site or ads. This data may be linked to your Google account if you’re signed in and have given consent.
- MailPoet: Manages our newsletter subscriptions and stores your name, email address, and interaction data on our server.
- WooCommerce: Stores customer and order information securely on our site. Payment details are handled by third-party processors like Stripe or PayPal.
- LearnPress: Collects and stores course enrollment and progress data, visible only to course administrators and instructors.
Additionally, if you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email. Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Security, backup, and fraud protection services may also access certain data as part of maintaining site integrity.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, subscribed to our newsletter, placed an order, or enrolled in a course, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Data may also be stored in secure backups or sent to third-party services for fraud detection, security monitoring, or legal compliance.
